I had the day off so this morning I went on a hike to see Punchbowl Falls in the Columbia River Gorge. The hike was spectacular and I'm sure it would've continued to amaze but I headed back after getting to this point (about two miles out). My reasoning is that I plan to revisit the trail for Tunnel Falls, another four miles distant. Punchbowl Falls is incredible. Huge canyon walls, crystal-clear water, greenery everywhere... simply amazing. What a great way to celebrate the Summer Solstice!
